Are you a student pursuing a post-secondary education in agriculture? Each year Vineland Growers’ Co-operative Limited selects one individual to receive a $1000 scholarship to put towards an education in the agriculture industry.

In order to apply, applicants must meet the following three criteria:
1. an Ontario resident; and
2. furthering his or her education at a Canadian post-secondary institution of his or her choice, or seeking acceptance at a Canadian post-secondary college or university as a first, second, third, or fourth year student; and
3. a child or grandchild of a member in good standing with the Co-operative, and/or a child or grandchild of an employee of Vineland Growers Co-operative Limited.

In order to be considered for the scholarship, applicants must submit the following items in one package:
1. A Vineland Growers’ Co-operative Limited Application form (below)
2. A brief essay outlining:
a) the program of study being pursued (or going to be pursued)
b) why the applicant chose to attend post-secondary school X over the others
c) where the applicant hopes his or her post-secondary studies will lead him or her
d) a need for financial assistance
3. One letter of recommendation or reference letter from a teacher, principal, coach, etc. Letters of recommendation or reference from immediately family members or relatives are not acceptable.

The deadline for submission is April 3, 2020. Presentation of the scholarship will be held on Wednesday, April 15, 2020, at Vineland Growers’ Annual General Meeting.
