Plums are picked firm and are a great portable snack to have on the go. With both free stone and semi-freestone varieties available, plums are a great option for cooking and preparing in meals. Different shades of the fruit are available at different times of year.

Blue plums have a mellow, sweet flavour, making them the most popular variety to be enjoyed out of hand. Vineland Growers offers several varieties of including the Italian prune plum, Empress, Valour and Victory, all perfect for snacking.

These succulent plums are tart and sweet. They stand out with their yellow skin and round shape. These plums are great to enjoy as a quick snack and their tartness makes them ideal for baking. Vineland Growers is proud to grow the most Japanese yellow plums in North America.
